Tivoli’s 2025 revenue reached a historic high

According to the annual report published on Friday, Tivoli’s revenue rose to DKK 1.3 billion (€174.2 million), the strongest result ever recorded by the historic park in central Copenhagen. The company also reported a pre-tax profit of around DKK 156 million (€20.9 million) for 2025.

The figures point to another strong year for one of Denmark’s best-known cultural and leisure institutions, which combines amusement rides, concerts, restaurants and seasonal events in the heart of the capital.

Foreign tourists helped drive visitor growth in Copenhagen

The annual accounts show that 4.3 million guests visited Tivoli in 2025. Among them, 1.5 million were international tourists, a sign that Copenhagen’s visitor economy continues to support high-profile attractions even amid wider pressure on household spending across Europe.

For Tivoli, the foreign visitor share is particularly significant because it strengthens the park’s position not only as a local entertainment venue, but also as a key part of Copenhagen tourism and Denmark’s wider international appeal.

Tivoli says strong results will support new investments

Chief executive Susanne Mørch Koch said the 2025 outcome gives Tivoli “a solid starting point” for future investments aimed at further developing the park.

That matters because Tivoli has increasingly balanced its historic identity with a need to renew attractions, expand its events calendar and remain competitive in a tourism market where travellers have a growing range of cultural and leisure options across Nordic capitals.

Tivoli expects similar turnover in 2026

For 2026, Tivoli expects a similar level of revenue, around DKK 1.4 billion (€187.6 million), while forecasting a pre-tax result of DKK 145 million (€19.5 million).

The outlook suggests that management expects business conditions to remain broadly stable, even if profits are projected to be slightly lower than in 2025. For Copenhagen, the result also highlights how major attractions continue to play an important role in the city’s tourism economy and in Denmark’s broader cultural profile.

Tivoli’s latest figures come as Nordic capitals continue to compete for international visitors through a mix of heritage, food, urban culture and large-scale events. In that context, Tivoli’s record revenue is not only a company milestone, but also a signal of Copenhagen’s continued pull as a destination.
